Wolf Lake is part of one-of-a-kind, well-used and beloved canoe route. The old growth red pine forest is worthy of protection alone, the canoe route aside. In the best interests of Ontarians now and into the future, this area should be put forward for park status, and certainly not for the very short-lived benefits of mining.
