I have been going up to our family cottage on this lake since 1950. At that time there were less than 15 cottages on the lake. Of course it could not stay like it was then, however, as time has passed, the lake has become over populated in my mind. There are too many cottages and too many boats on the lake. There must be some sensible measure for this and I can't help but believe that we have exceeded it. This also must take a toll on the ecosystem and the environment. This little lake just can't take more people.

I also realize that tax revenues are important to a small municipality in the north. But this could potentially have a negative effect on property values, reducing your tax base.

Please do not approve this application.
