Hi,

I live in close proximity to LaPlante Poultry.

The smell and noise that I have to deal with is unacceptable.

Smell - the smell that I notice does not happen on consistent days but appears to happen randomly through out the week - weekends included.

Time - The smell can last from 5 minutes to an hour and more. There has been days where I smell a strong order from LaPlantes when I leave to work (7:30am) and the smell is still there when I come home (5 pm).

Type: It is hard to describe the type of smell but the most frequent "type" that I smell is a rotting like smell, decaying smell as well as a sewage smell. Some days the smell is strong and others it is noticeable but still unpleasant.

Impact on my Living: The smell gets so bad that I have to move myself indoors. I could be weeding, cutting the grass, sitting on my deck and I have to move inside due to the smell. I have had friends over for dinner and we would have to move from eating on the deck (behind the house) into the house because the smell was so bad. It was embarrassing and should not be happening. I cannot open my windows while I am gone to work, if I do my house smells like LaPlantes. Sometimes the smell is so strong with everything closed - and the A/C running the smell will come through the A/C - not as strong as it would be if the windows were open but noticeable.

Noise - the noise that I notice does not happen on consistent days but appears to happen randomly through out the week - weekends and middle of the night (12am - 6am) included.

Time - anytime day and night. Just last week I was woken by bin being unloaded from midnight to 12:30 on a Saturday night. Video is attached, please note that I have multiple videos of this incident but I decided to send the first and last video. There was the noise from the transport backing into the yard, beeping, the clashing of metal unloading, the person who was unloading - you could hear him cursing etc. **Tried to upload but it says it cannot be uploaded. Erin Legue (MOE) has a copy and I can email you a copy if you wish.

Type - transports pulling/backing into the the driveway (beepers, breaks, unloading bins all included in the sounds) Again this happens randomly - including weekend and throughout the night included 3 am.... Their tractor has woken me up from sleep - moving things around in the middle of the night (has woke me up before between the hours of 2am - 5 am)

Impact on my Living: impacts my sleep, impacts my time outside (by myself or with company), impacts the safety on the road, does not follow noise regulations.
