When I learned of the increased emissions request from Ryding-Regency Meat Packers Ltd I was so disappointed. This is an area with schools and families , and to allow a business to pollute the air in a residential area is unacceptable. Reading the request that includes: barn exhausts, manure stockpiles, lactic acid cabinet, condensers and combustion equipment. Really??? there are multiple schools in this area. How can they be allowed to do this within the city? I am shocked and appalled that this is even being considered. Please do the right thing and deny this request.
