I am writing to express my concern in regard to the proposed plan to allow the taking of water from the Queen Elizabeth II Wildland Park to help with operations of Giofam Investments granite quarry nearby. It has come to my attention that Giofam has applied for this permit and it is my sincere belief that this request must be denied. This permit will alllow Giofam to take large amounts of water from these wetlands. This will have a negative and devstating effect on this area, it's natural ecosystem as well as the animals that rely upon it for their survival. Our province is beautiful due mainly to our large and abundant wildllands and this activity will surely have serious consequences. Please consider the damage this activity will have on this area and deny Giofam the license to use water from this park. Thank you.
