This proposed quarry…

This proposed quarry concerns me greatly; in particular I am concerned for the preservation of the water in the area. I understand that drilling and blasting will be below the water table, and the results could be disastrous for many of us beyond the stated limit of Giofam's responsibility. I live 2 km from the site and my well has not been tested, so if it is adversely affected by the quarry there will be no way of confirming it. I am worried that this quarry may pollute my well or dry it up, as well as the beautiful Head River which flows all through the area.. Primarily, I need to have a guarantee that our water will be safe, and as yet have seen no indication that this is even possible.
