The southern border of our property borders on the Cragg Road property where human waste is being dumped. This is of great concern to us as our property is lower and the chance of run off of all of the dangerous components of the material being dumped is a health concern. Our well which is only 18 feet deep is approximately 30 feet from the property line of our neighbour who is allowing the dumping of human waste. Both of our dogs who are 9+ years old and have been healthy up to early June this year took sick with a life threatening condition - hemorraghic gastroenteritis and had to be taken to the emergency pet hospital in Newmarket. One of our dogs had to be hospitalized to become stabilized. Both dogs would have died without treatment. The cause of this disease is from bacteria or parasites. Our cost - over $3000.00. Since this disgusting, filthy arrangement has be going on our neighbour's property, we reluctantly drink bottled water and give bottled water to our dogs, as well. We also have large mouth bass in our ponds on our property and are concerned regarding contamination to our ponds from the leaching of all of the chemicals and harmful bacteria the practice of this dumping. Common sense should be enough to stop this unsafe dumping which is harmful to our environment.
