It is my opinion that the proposal to close down a near complete wind farm funded on tax payer money is a disservice to the people, and a tragedy to a greener Ontario. The White Pines wind farm MUST NOT be dismantled. Instead, the construction must be seen to completion. Dismantling a near complete green energy project is a) a waste of tax payer dollars b) makes all efforts toward this green project moot c) disrupts Prince Edward County further d) sets the precedent that the Ford Administration *does not care* about the environment, and does not uphold a fiscally conservative platform. Do NOT dismantle this wind farm. It is imperative to the future of Ontario that we continue to invest in and promote green energy.
