I think its fantastic that the Ontario Government is making this stride toward protecting our precious water resources however I am still bothered by the fact that companies like Nestle are able to continue taking water from certain area's like the Guelph watershed and native people's land with a long expired contract. What makes this even more bothersome were the comments that the chairman of Nestle made to the effect that 'water is not a human right, it is a privilege that people should have to pay big corporation's in order to get. Not only is this statement based on greed, it is also one that dose not reflect how us as Canadian's feel towards taking care of one another. Water is something that we, as Canadian's, take pride in having some very clean and healthy water and also that it is readily available to all. Thank-you for taking this small step to protect any future taking of water, but something still needs to be done about the theft that Nestle has still ongoing.
