Given the aspirations and promises of our province and country, any exemption, temporary or otherwise, is a direct threat to the very health and wellbeing of people the government and utility serve.

This exemption would exacerbate an already dire situation and does not provide a benefit to me or my fellow citizens. This exemption would only benefit the OPG plant: it is lazy and irresponsible and a throwback to the very cause of the environmental and climate catastrophe the world is dealing with now.

Furthermore, the immediate area around the plant is an historic and current agricultural centre where quality of life would be degraded.

We need to oppose the unwarranted bending of rules in place for the wellbeing of all for the immediate and short term benefit of only a few.
