I urge Prodigy Gold to reconsider the location of this mine. The Little Brown Myotis and Northern Myotis are two vulnerable species who have been able to find a home in Finan Township. They are part of the Finan community, helping to keep mosquito, midge, and mayfly populations in check. They also provide a food source for hawks, owls, and other predators. If this mine proceeds, not only will the bat populations suffer, but so will the entire Finan ecosystem, of which humans are part. Please make the choice that will support rather than decimate these important species.
