I am a wildlife biologist that has been specializing in herpetology for almost a decade. I support all the actions to minimize adverse effects and achieve an overall benefit to Butler’s Gartersnake and Eastern Foxsnake-Carolinian population outlined in the permit submitted by Piroli Construction Inc. I think all mitigation and overall benefit activities listed should be completed, as well as maintaining ecopassages and fencing installed at road mortality hotspots as outlined in Best Management Practices documents.
