Although it would appear that regulations are being followed for assessment, given that the property is in a residential area, and slated for either residential, parkland or institutional use, I am sincerely hoping that all precautions are taken to clearly verify the contaminants are removed or dealt with in a manner that provides a safe and healthy area to rebuild on and/or for humans and animals to use. It is not clear how this assessment is undertaken to ensure safety for citizens and possibly their pets. It would have been interesting to know what contaminants are present. Thanks.
