I am incredibly disappointed…

I am incredibly disappointed and oppose this proposal. The deleterious effects of emissions on organisms (including humans) and the environment are widely known and undeniable. The scientific community has unequivocally demonstrated these impacts and potential impacts we and future generations will face. It is shocking that industries that already are among the greatest producers of emissions are requesting leniency to produce more emissions that ultimately harm each and every one of us and our global environment. As someone who spends a significant amount of time in the Stockyards area, I am very concerned about this company’s negative impact on the community, city, and beyond. Should this proposal be approved, I certainly will refuse to patron local businesses and would never consider residing nearby. I most certainly hope the city and those who represent its residents seriously consider the adverse consequences of increased emissions.
