I do not want to have ANOTHER St. Helens facility within my community. These facilities stink, they ruin roads with their large trucks, there are schools and nearby and this is an area which is prone to flooding. People have been dealing with flooding due to black creek which runs through the area. This land should remain as a green space or a park so that the water from rainstorms has somewhere to go other than the basements of residents. Slaughterhouses are not meant for urban centers and St. Helen's is already stunting the growth of our community with their facilities on Symes Road.
