I just purchased a home on Cordella Avenue and was shocked to find out that this will be built a block away. How could you allow this? Doesn’t the area have enough problems already? It’s on a flood plain and this land should have never been sold in the first place. Not only do residents need to be concerned about a higher risk of flooding due to the build but it also needs to worry about the pollution from this? It’s disgusting to know that our government thinks that this is ok. I sincerely hope that the ministry will put their foot down, do it’s job and protect its people. Please prove that this is in fact your mission and do the right thing.
