This proposal is incredibly concerning for myself and my neighbours. Not only were we not consulted
or notified about this proposal, but we have already been reporting numerous issues to the Ministry
of Environment with respect to smell. The businesses in the area do not have any care for the
environment. I have reported terrible smells to the Toronto office of the Ministry of Environment
(many of which are on file). Noise is of course another concern. I am raising my family here. The
smell of decaying animals and waste, will be that much worse with the request for three (3) natural
gas-fired boilers for a total of four (4), two (2) antimicrobial wash stations, and one (1)
charring exhaust. What are the health impacts by allowing them to bring these processes on board?
With more and more families moving into the area, the industries should not be able to get away
with the same dangerous behaviours. Please do not allow this to go forward. I am strongly against
it.
