I am writing to voice my objection to the proposed development of a quarry in such close proximity to QEII Wildlands Provincial Park. This project will threaten the species which inhabit the park, particularly those which are endangered. The effects on the water table will be not only be detrimental to the park, but will inevitable affect the surrounding areas. Finally, the noise pollution resulting from operations, the vehicular traffic and the airborne dust will have a negative impact on the park wildlife and visitiors.
