I have witnessed First Nation claims to all lands between the highwater marks of the Thames river and the lands there under at the exact location of the 3 licenses being applied to be amalgamated.. The original Thames river bed is part of each one of these licenses. As such, this EBR # 012-9849 is not being put forth by the sole undisputed landowner and brings into question proper governance at the original permit issuance stage. Any continuance of this application without resolution of all land ownership claims, would constitute compounding the original governance errors in permit issuance. Full proof of land ownership resolution, complete with proven full consultation and accomodation to the Chippewa of the the Thames First Nation will be required before any continuance of this process would be acceptable..
