To: Darryl Hagman, Aggregate Technical Specialist, MNRF, Aylmer April, 2017 Dear Sir, The following are my comments on EBR numbers: 012-9852, 012-9850, 012-9849, 012-9848, 012-9845, 012-9843 as posted last month. I am writing today to express concern with many of the changes proposed to the site operations/licence and the rehabilitation plans currently in place for Carmeuse Lime. Please note that I am asking for the proposals to amalgamate the site plans, and to vary the licence conditions, to be turned down by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. In light of the lack of information provided to the public, granting these changes would pose problems to the community and to the EA process currently being conducted by the MOECC. There are no Site Plan Notes and no Prescribed Licence Conditions or other conditions for the public and other stakeholders to consider and comment on. We have been given no information on what conditions may be changed at all in relation to Carmeuse Lime's current site plan obligations. In fact, a comparison of current licences with proposed changes would be most helpful. If this information could be provided, it might assure me that the process is being followed and allowing a full community consultation on this serious set of changes facing us and with impact on our future as a community. I would have hoped to see complete information at the start of the consultation. Without it, I can only suggest that the requests need to be withdrawn.
